I need more storage. I run a BBS and the 200 megs is already starting to
seem like 20! I've been looking through a MacWorld and I've decided that the
best bet would be an IOMEGA MultiDisk 150. First I need to know a few things.
My current HD was bought from LRO. The SCSI ID switch isn't connected to
anything. So I'm thinking of buying a new case. I figure I better buy a
Full Height 5.25" drive case that can hold two HH 3.5" or 5.25" drives. The
ad says that it comes with a power supply and all necessary cabling. Does
this mean I only need to take my current HD out and put it in the new case
and attach a few connections to it? Does the drive sit on a platform?
The MultiDisk 150 (from what I can see) only comes in an external model.
Would it be possible to take the drive out of the case and put it in the new
drive housing?
Any suggestions or input into my "storage dilemma" would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks!
