I'll answer this one for you as Roy didn't know some of the information about
this when he did it. 

Roy's .6 -> .3 mil adaptors did not work because Roy did NOT buy low power
Srams.

According to Zip technologies, the adaptors WILL work if you buy low power
(preferably double low power) srams. For some reason, the normal power Srams
cause a problem with the adaptors.

So, yes, they work -IF YOU BUY THE RIGHT RAMS-.
