Gee... maybe that "blue shimmering mist" will help you, eh? These
blue mists either teleport anything that moves into it, changes the
orientation of anything that moves into it, or nothing at all.
Obviously the third choice doesn't apply here.

Man, you have no patience!!! Perservere a little longer, think
logically, and have an eye for detail. Dungeon Master isn't an easy
game to finish!
BTW, I have finished the game several times several different ways.
All the puzzles are solvable, and you must have a very keen eye for
detail and a good sense of direction. Try everything you can think of.
Just because one method doesn't work in one situation doesn't mean it
won't work in another.

The patch itself should have been uploaded rather than the patched
game. I agree the Dungeon.Master file is useless without the rest of
the game, but Dan's just erring on the side of caution.
