The C-Vue I have has also a compatibility problem - believe it or not - with
the ZIP chip. The pixels outside of the display window (the LCD is a 640*200
type) are not cleared clenaly on power-up; from what I saw the electronic
design is not very clean, to say the least. Increasing the time constant of an
internal "pseudo monoflop" (they feed analog input to a TTL or CMOS chip (no
triggered inputs!)) helped.
