Beagle Compiler Info

A couple of years ago I used the Beagle Compiler to create a relatively
powerful database program that would run on all apple models ][+ and above.
The program could get get by with as little as 64k memory. The only critical
problem I ever had when using with the GS is when I chose to use the GS.system
program. When you run a program and then re-run a program the memory used
in the first run is not reallocated to be free. This is survivable when
running a single program, but was a pain during development. I wrote Alan
Bird about the problem, and he acknowledged the short coming but only stated
that it might be possible to write a routine to purge memory whenever a program
is about to begin or end wherever.
I always thought the product was quite solid.
