Forwarded mail about the fact that the Mac game called Bolo is not very
similar to the AppleII game. Note that the Mac Bolo is still a great game...



Interestingly enough, this is a current conversation topic in
comp.sys.mac.games, where the conclusion is that there are at least four
completely different games, for different platforms, called Bolo.  The Mac
game you're talking about has absolutely nothing to do with the Apple II
Bolo, except that (by apparent coincidence) both of them have you driving
a tank.  The author (Stuart Cheshire) has made a point of the fact that
his Mac version is NOT a port of the II game.

Someone *is* working on a port for the Mac, though.  I have his address if
anyone wants to get it touch with him; he has said that he needs help because
he is still somewhat of a novice programmer.
