Re: Crossword Assistant

Ed Oset only released one version (1.0) of Crossword Assistant. A few years
ago, I contacted him about the problem with it now printing to a IIc. If
it's only changing one or two bytes, then it seems kinda silly to upload a
bad version, doesn't it? Maybe I can just email it to you, if you remember
what you had to do to get it to work. How's that sound? I know I'd feel much
better about spreading the program around if I knew it worked with all Apple
II's.

About the Unix Cat command, err...I dial into an Internet Unix Provider
using my GS, and don't exactly feel too comfortable doing anything on that
machine. Could I just use a II word processor and cut/paste sections into
one file?

If you can deal with that few byte mod, give me the word, and I'll upload
the file to you.

BTW, Ed Oest had no clue why it wouldn;t print on the IIc. Neither did hot-
shot programmer Mr BRCC <ha>.
