Re: Crossword puzzle generator?

The name of the program that David Kilzer mentioned is CrossWord Generator
by Ed Oest. For some reason, the program just won't print out crossword
puzzles on a IIc. It works great on a IIe or a IIGS.

As the librarian for Big Red at the time, I placed it in their library. If I
remember correctly, it is freeware. And, it produces lovely print outs on an
ImageWriter.

Whoops. It's called Crossword Assistant. And, it only requires 64K.

I'm kind of upset with Big Red at the moment, so if someone can provide me
with some instructions on how to upload it to cco.caltech, I'd be more than
happy to. Maybe a better question is: After running the disk through
ShrinkIt and then BinScii, how to I make one single BSQ file from the
smaller segments that BinScii creates? Then, once I do that, how do I get
it to cco.caltech. I'm guessing that I upload it to my home directory, and
then PUT it on ccco.caltech? As is obvious, I've never uploaded via FTP.

Thanks.
