Re: Zip & Renaissance Troubles?

I've had lots of problems with Renaissance. I bought a used copy a
few years ago because I liked Salvation for backing up my drive. I used
Renaissance five times to optimize my hard drive. It failed four times,
all on 32-meg partitions. The only time it worked was on an 8-meg
partition on my old 40-meg drive. Luckily I had backed up the drive
immediately before each optimization, so I didn't lose anything. I have
long since switched to Prosel-16. It hasn't corrupted a single byte of
data yet, and I must have used it a few dozen times now. Once it
aborted in the middle because of a logical error on the disk, but it put
everything back in order before quitting.
