Orca/C 2.0
schultp@pd-dom.wl.com ( sorry, I didn't catch your name ;-) ) asks
if I got Orca/C 2.0 and the answer is YES I DID!!!
I ordered it the week before Christmas vacation ended. About a week ago,
I bothered Byte Works about it enough (being very nice about it) and told
them that I had ordered it about 4 weeks ago (which it was).
I assume that because I had ordered it so early and bothered them so
often, that someone decided to put me on the priority mailing list
of AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. <shrug> I don't know, but I got it.
All I can say is that you're lucky that you don't have Orca/C 2.0 right
now. It not that it's a bad product. It's that it's not fully debugged
right now. I'm getting my programs chewed up with code that worked fine in
C 1.3.2.
So I still coding in C 1.3.2, but envisioning myself as a beta
tester when running 2.0 by finding all the bugs I can to mail to Mike.
BTW, I'm running the 1.3.2 shell from the 2.0. I'm not sure what good it
is, but looks cool with all the scripting I put in.
