I've been downloading (Internet ftp) Mac files on my GS.
Most Mac files are compacted (usually StuffIt) and then put in a BinHex
envelop for transmission.  I've found that I have the best luck copying
the downloaded Mac (text) file onto an HFS-formatted disk on the GS,
then using that disk to transfer to the Mac for unBinHexing and unStuffing
with StuffIt.
