Yes, there definitely IS a floptical version for the MAC, which has a
motorized eject (so you can eject disks from software).  In fact, it
has no manual eject button.   It has the usual paperclip hole for
emergency ejects.    Mine came from PLI Infinity  ($339 to $369 these
days).   I'm not at home, so I can't look for a model number ...
and besides, I'd bet that would be internal?   I could get you PLI's
product model number, if you like.  (rsvp if you want more info)

I've had it for a week, and like it very much.
