I don't know about the //e, but the IIGS has a small edge connector on the
lower right. It is hidden by the part of the cover that covers the power light.
You can take this part of the cover by pressing back on some plastic pieces
underneath. Anyway, the edge connector _was_ :( used for testing the IIGS's at
the factory.
