Thankyou all for your speedy responses. I have just received info (Over the
phone); the chip number for the Rom, but I cannot decipher which ROM version
it is.
Here is the magic number or numbers on the chip:
Copywrite Apple
Copywrite MicroSoft 77
633 vm c2366
231024-1039
342-0077-A
It's package is 28 pin config.
Also there is no extension memory board. Only 10 surface mount memory
chips. Their Number is 41464. I guess from this there is only 640K on board.
I am told the Machine is called Apple IIGS Limited Edition. Can you please
confirm the configuration of this machine, and it's expandability (i.e. which
(the latest) system will run on it with out a memory upgrade and which version
of ROM it currently has).
I have a feeling I may be wrong in my calculation of how much memory it has
on board.
Chris
