Well, are you SURE that these are the right chips? Where did you get them?
How fast are they? Did you set your dipswitches correctly?
Mine are 35ns and bear the part number IDT 71256-s35p. There are, of course,
chips from other manufacturers with different part numbers which will work
equally as well. A friend who buys direct from the manufacturer got these
for me for $10 apiece. I've been using them for about a year in a 9Mhz
ZipGSX with no problems.
