I have played the game all the way through on my stock 2.8 IIgs. Although the
Television mode is the fastest, the colour palettes are changing all the time
from scene to scene, and on some screens it produces quite a confusing image,
especially down in the caves. My favourite format was the next one, Letterbox.
The 50% vertical image compression does not produce as much distortion as you'd
think, and the playing speed is still acceptable. The larger formats are much
too slow to be practical, although they are very nice to look at.
