Re: GEnie
If you run into further troubles after trying the below process, call
Customer Service at: 1-800-638-9636.
It's been sooo long since I signed up on GEnie, but my manual (cough,
blowing off the dust...) says to do this...
* At the "U#=" prompt, enter: XJM11999, GENIE
* You'll get a brief explanation of GEnie & then you are
given the opportunity to sign up.
* Have a credit card handy.
* You will have to answer a few questions (name, address, etc)
and electronically agree to the terms of the service agreemnt.
* Just follow the online instructions & you'll be mailed a
permanent password.
Good luck and enjoy GEnie! Be sure to make you way to the Apple II RT
and/or A2Pro areas. There's a terrific online help manual you can d/l
(Option #6 on the A2 RT, pg 645). If you get lost, send some E-Mail
to "A2.Help" or feel free to contact me on GEnie by mail "R.Diffley".
