Booting from a file server

Can anyone tell me if it possible to get a GS to boot from a mac running
system7 file shareing, not the full server package?

I have had a play with this, but I get the impression filesharing does not
support users properly for the gs to find its boot blocks?

Can anyone shed more light on this?
