This sounds normal. The Finder doesn't know anything about TrueType
fonts...Use POINTLESS to install the fonts (Pointless will recognize them).

Unfortunately, these fonts, being commericial fonts can only be released by
people who are authorized to distribute them...such as Apple. Fortunately,
they ARE part of the Mac System Software, which you should be able to download
from America Online as well as many other places. If you don't have a Mac you
might need to get some help from a friend with one to get the fonts off of the
Mac System Disks.

Simple, the Times TrueType fonts is actually a SUITCASE which contains Times
Roman, Times Bold, Times Bold Italic and Times Italic.
