What happened to all the new demos?

I was just wondering what had happened to all the new demos that
were supposed to be released?  I can recall something called
"The Cindy Crawford Demo," plus a couple more whose name escape
me in my current state of drunken stupor (pre-Christmas party :)

Man, ever since FTA left, demos are becoming a thing of the past :(
