I have the old Tandy 1000 version from Radio Shack, and it will play on
an IBM PC or an AT. (They also sold a Color Computer version which of
course only worked on a Color Computer!) There's some self modifying
code in the Tandy 1K version that'll hang or operate improperly on a 386
or a 286 with cache. I've seen (but don't have in my posession) an old
IBM release of this same game. It seemed absolutely identical to the
Tandy version so I'd expect it to also cause trouble on a 386.

I dug my old copy out after ignoring it for about 5 years and was able to
patch it to get it running on the 386, but it's still too difficult to
control at the higher speed. So I'm running it on my old 8088 machine
that I keep just for old games. I'm on level 5 (the skyway) now.

So anyway if you manage to locate it it may not work unless you have
or can find an old computer to run it on.
