I am, but as my primary hard drive.  I'm just now configuring RAM
as a System startup disk & then (& after finals) I can test out
your questions below.

I've had absolutely no problems with my drive & would recommend it
as an alternative if you need a HD for the Mac or IBM & the GS--
can't really speak for other II's.
