Maybe in Australia, but in America the high-school dropouts tend to vote
liberal.  So do those with advanced degrees (masters and doctorates).
Those with high-school diplomas and bachelor's degrees tend to vote
conservative.

So one could say the under-educated and the over-educated vote liberal,
and the practical people vote conservative, but that would be partisan. :)

You gotta admit, though, we sure do win an awful lot of Nobel prizes for
