It would add an extra step (copy to Apple II media) to the whole process...Huh? Extra step? I'm not seeing any extra step. In fact it would appear to make things a whole lot easier if such a thing were possible.
The extra step is copying the FPGA bitstream from a PC platform to the Apple for configuration.
