Re: GS Lover seeking help...
: SOunds like the classic bad solder joint in keyboard syndrome. I just went
: through this myself last summer. Basically, the socket your keyboard
: cable plugs into will slowly have its solder joints broken due to
: the stress caused by the cable. Simply take the back of your keyboard and
: lightly reheat and remelt the solder joints on the connector.
: This fixed mine when I had the problem. In fact, when I started to
: resolder, I saw how the entire joint had come off of the pc board. I had
: not even noticed that until I finally resoldered it. All it takes
: is a microscopic hairline fracture and the joint will be bad.
Heh, I had the same problem... I just bought another keyboard... I like it a
lot better, but I still use my GS keyboard on my other GS...
I guess I'll re-solder, when I find the time..
