Slot Control Panel Setting Slot Contains
1 Printer Port <nothing>
2 Your Card Apple High Speed SCSI
3 80 Column Firmware <nothing>
4 Mouse <nothing>
5 SmartPort <nothing>
6 Drive Port <nothing>
7 AppleTalk MDIdeas Stero Card

If you have ROM 3, put the SCSI card in slot 4, the mouse will work in 16- but
not 8-bit apps. Else, you could put SCSI in slot 6, sacrificing 5.25" drives,
no big loss. Also, try the stereo card in slot 3 or 4 or anything else. I don't
think the slot needs to be set to the stereo card for anything, since I believe
most stereo cards do everything via the Ensoniq chip. (The Ensoniq chip as A/D
circuits -- except for Audio Animator and I think MDIdeas Pro card, it does the
digitizations, not the card.

If you use Proterm, you need not set the modem port to the port, but can use
"your card," so you can put the MDIdeas card there.
