John, I've replied and replied, by vn return paths never seem to go through.
I think most importantly - even if people don't have DOS3.3 stuff still
around - is a method of creating a new file system, without creating a new
file system. If I am correct, you use a disk image of the DOS disk, and
intercept all 3.3 type calls to it. Perhaps this might be one way to
bundle a UNIX OS under ProDos? A special FEx could move things in and out
of this "suitcase", and GNO could be told to limit it's access to only
this special partition. (Or the SuperUser could have full access, because
then you don't need access bits)
I would say, no, you're not wasting your time if you're willing to share
your techniques and aren't heart-set on creating a super-wonderful Dos3.3
launcher. (Which it may well be, but I haven't used it yet not having
any useful 3.3 stuff)
