Re: >Joe K, 13 sector disks
To Jay and everyone else...
Yeah, I just tried out Muffin, and it works. Slowly, but it works. And, it
even accepts wildcards when prompting for filenames. Using the '=' key
converts the entire disk, file by file.
I agreed to help Tim Tobin's Lost Classic Project. Tim is the librarian on
GEnie's A2, and he was the guy that managed to talk Paul Lutus into
releasing AppleWriter as freeware.
I feel that it's Tim Tobin's place to announce new titles as they are
released. I'll help publicize them after they are released. I don't want to
take any of the wind out of Tim Tobin's sails; he's the man that deserves
the credit for starting the Lost Classic project.
The only thing I'll say further is that I now have the answer to the
question that always comes up when a bunch of Apple II old-timers get
together. That question, of course, is..."What ever happened to Bill Budge?"
And, for the answer, you're just going to have to read my Shareware
Solutions column in inCider/A+, or watch on GEnie when Tim announces some
new Lost Classics.
I'm mum on the subject. Don't even ask. No journalist would pre-announce the
scoop of the year, and neither will I.
