I never did get cc65 running. I got a broken snapshot and some attitude 
about foodchains and toolchains and just got turned-off so I guess I never 
tried hard enough either. No great loss from what I see. Aztec C is well 
documented and works well on the Apple II in the following areas:

1. ProDOS SYS programs
2. DOS 3.3 BIN programs
3. Overlay Linker Support
4. CP/M 80 Programs

And

5. ProDOS Unix Like Shell Programs
6. Floating Point Support
