I can't attest to the power supply in the platinum //e we used at
KFest other than it powered up the machine. We didn't have any reason
to suspect the PSU, and so we didn't meter it. IIRC, the platinum was
equipped with a Apple 5.25 controller, a SSC and a mini-extended 80
column card (Apple). Nothing else. The other 2 machines I tried it in
at home were also platinums. Having only tested on platinums, I think
that fact is likely irrelevant but will also try an enhanced "B" board.
