Hi Hugh,
Thanks for testing :)...I am not sure what i am doing wrong with
Sweet16 ..it seems to do the same thing on a mates PowerPC G4 dual
500Mhz (Though it seemed to work fine yesterday after a rebuild with a
fresh 10.4 install, but doesnt work today...not sure if thats because
of the renice script i ran earlier though). It does it on my G3 Pismo
on a Sweet16 1.73 and also on my netbook which is a 1.6ghz processor
running 10.5.7 in both 1.7.3 and 2.0b18.
Best game to see the sound problem is Silpheed actually as the intro
is longer. The KQII test i noticed that as the man walks from left to
right when the sound slows down the man also slows down. I have tested
some other games today such as Thexder with the same problem..its
doing my head in actually..as Kegs, bernie all seem to run fine on the
same hardware. Doesn't seem to make any real difference what speed the
emu thinks its running at.
Cheers
Andrew
