Woot!

I got my Sony cpd 1302 working.

At first i used the wrong pinouts, got a screwed up picture.  So I
decided to try my 1084.  Got a better picture, but it was doing a
vertical/sideways spin, so I figure I'll need to put a resistor on the
sync line or something.

So I realised that I did the wrong pinouts on the sony, did some more
searching, and coughed up the manual in pdf format.

Made the cable, first had the HSync go to the composite sync, or vice
versa, but that didn't work.  But I saw that the monitor did sync on
green, so i just disconnected the sync line and it works nice.

Got my micro IDE the other day, so I guess now i'm set.
