I have a Sony CPD hooked up to my GS and the images are excellent,
better than the stock monitor.  All you need to do is wire up a custom
cable and you're good to go.  At the very least you need to give it a
shot and see for yourself.  You can get a monitor switch and use the
same monitor for both the GS and the Amiga.
