Yes, like that rather infamous batch of capacitors that Dell (and
others) used on their motherboards some years ago. Funnily I inherited
a Dell Pentium 4 PC that was dead that suffered from this bad batch of
capacitors - they were all bulging and some had started to leak after
only a couple of years. I replaced all the bad caps (nearly all of
them - fortunately they were not expensive to replace), and now the
kids have their own media center.  :-)
