Vulcan IIe Power Supply

Hi folks...

I've read that if you have a lot of cards that the original IIe ps 
won't be enough to drive everything. Does the Vulcan IIe ps qualify as 
a 'better' one to drive several additional cards? Does the types of 
cards matter, power-wise?
