Although the chart shown is probably correct that the platinum //e is the longest-running II produced it may not be completely accurate as to the length of time others before it were produced. For instance the chart shows the II ending when the production of the Apple II+ (first quarter of 1979) but in fact the Apple II was actively marketed well into 1980 (third quarter and maybe longer) along with the Apple II+.

The actual end date for Apple II availability may be dealer-dependent.
I was offered the option by Computerland at the end of December, 1980.
