Thanks for the recommendation. How do you think this combination
compares to WordPerfect for Apple II? (Since I did most of my school
assignments in the mid-to-late 1980s with AppleWorks, I remember
pretty well how to use it - I never touched WP/A2).

I was a long-time user of Appleworks, and only briefly played with
WordPerfect on the //e, but I think your choice should be guided
by what you are more comfortable with, so the tool itself fades into
the background as you write.

I suspect that means Appleworks, unless you really are looking forward
to learning to control another word processor.  ;-)

(Then, there's the fact that Appleworks files are easy to convert, while
WordPerfect files may be more of a problem.)
