Even more elusive are the folks that weren't a significant part of the
Apple II ecosystem, but whose one-off creations may still be of
historical interest; they occasionally send out clarion calls across
the Internet, looking to have something preserved, and it's only
through luck that it reaches the right people. I'm still curious
about what happened with the Futurama creator's Apple II disk:
