When you want to cram many files, especially executable binaries,
only one disk, take a look at DOSPLUS 2.5, together with CCPLUS and
other things. It is totally compatible with CP/M 2.2, freely
available with full source. You can use ccpxtend with the original
CP/M, or install CCPLUS and make usage automatic, or install the
whole system and get all the advantages. These systems allow you
to pack things into .LBR files, avoiding the 1 or 2k average loss
per file. See:
