The board I got has no serial numbers and doesn't match any of the
pictures on your site :-)

all caps are surface mount (although kit had 3 through hole caps and
only 1 surface mount)

c1, c2, c7, c8, surface mount on component side

pads for 4 more ?surface mount caps? on back

I guess I'll have to get the schematic :-)
