you could redesign the Uther carrier board to hold a ROM...
put RAM and a CPU there too so TCP/IP can be run on
card, freeing up apple II RAM and CPU

You could add a serial port, a video port, and a keyboard port--
then you could add an external power jack and unplug it from the
Apple II and throw out the Apple II!  ;-)
