Agreed. Imagine the havoc this would wreak upon the Free Software/Open
Source community for starters.

I don't know that I'd go that far. I'd just be happy if we could get
past the hopelessly naive neocon malarky such as "Copyright
infringement = Theft" or "anyone who wants to see things change is a
pirate/thief".

Unforunatley that kind of nonsense tends to drag the level of the
conversation back the late 1800's, and ensures that yet again nothing
constructive happens :-(
