A couple of questions.
1) I have Apple II cards I'd like to scan and I have taken pictures
with a digital camera which didn't give me the detail I'd like. Does
a flat bed scanner harm cards in any way with the light running
across? I realize with EPROMs I need to cover them up before
scanning.
2) I have some manuals I'd like to scan. I was thinking 300DPI
resolution would be good. Can anyone recommend some good software
(Acrobat is very highly priced), maybe open-source, to assembly the
images into a PDF?
Thanks
Rick
