Catalyst apparently needs a genuine UniDisk 3.5 (white, slow) to run
due to protection.  Explains why it will not boot on my GS.

I guess there was never a patch for this?  Sad - it was an interesting
GUI.  I am tempted to grab a cheap UniDisk to give it a go.

It was, in part, Apple's Catalyst marketing that brought me back to
the Apple IIe from...oddly...Amiga.  See:
