Atari had something like this going on also so this isn't
unreasonable.
However, as you've surely noticed a Google search doesn't result in
anything substantial apart from the two sources you already cited
- and your attempts to find out more about the game ;-)

This seems to be one of the borders of the net.

*If* somebody has a disk archive it is possible that he/she visits
this group and may supply it or a link. So you knocked at the right
door.

Sometimes older programs get submitted to the Asmiov Apple II archive
at some point by an anonymous source and after a while they get sorted
and can be downloaded (ftp'ed). I fairly sure that it isn't available
there at the moment, though.
