The problem with the rarities is that they are rare and may get
even more rare, Obi Wan ;-)

I also have the impression that the guys who already own an
accelerator often are interested in buying yet another one and
another one etc. Just "for safety" etc.
It doesn't help that some people apparently have more money at
their fingertips than they can actually spend...

Accelerators have a feature that I call "inbuilt fascination".
Just like high-powered graphics cards. Even those from a time
long forgotten (like the fastest EGA card etc.).

I confess that I, too, would like one but my desires dwindled
a bit because I now use my PC for development (faster and more
comfortable) and the finished product (if it gets finished ;-)
will run well on a 1 MHz machine (that's the one parameter that
is definitely fixed).
