I switched the MicroDrive to Slot 1, and now the 3.5" drive mounts on
the GS/OS desktop. I have an Apple II High Speed SCSI card lying
around - I may use that in place of the RamFAST card to see if I can
coax my 80MEG external to mount. Incidentally, when I switched the
MicroDrive to Slot 4, and set the slot setting from "Mouse Port" to
"Your Card", the mouse wouldn't respond in GS/OS. I don't remember if
this is normal behavior, as my Apple II skills are incredibly rusty.

Thanks!

Regarding slots, that sounds about par for the course. When I recently got my CFFA card, I experienced similar events. I could be wrong, but I think the ROM03 IIGS can better handle the inbuilt function of the slots and include an expansion card at the same time. Can anyone confirm?
