I can confirm that you can still use a mouse on a ROM 03 if you
put a card into the "mouse slot" and set it to "your card".
However, you probably will have problems with the mouse in IIe-
mode where it may stop working (which I experienced).
So the advantage of using that slot may come with a price -
depending on the user's preferences.
