'What is the Apple IIGS?' site experiencing technical difficulties

Hi all,

If you've been visiting the site in the last day or so you might have 
encountered some new issues.

Currently, you can't add forum posts. Also, submitting items through 
the 'You Can Help' upload system is also non-functional. I know a 
couple of you were planning to submit scans of various items to include 
in the archive over the weekend, but that will have to wait until we 
can resolve the problem. Leaving comments to blogs also doesn't work.

The technical problem also means I can't update the content with what 
people have submitted over the week, which is very frustrating.

The good news is, however, you can continue to browse the site as 
normal and download any of the 2image archives, mp3 game soundtracks, 
etc.

If you missed my post regarding a solution to problems downloading the 
.zip archives from the site, the solution is simple - use Firefox v2 or 
v3 or Safari 3. Internet Explorer currently has problems in dealing 
with downloading the .zip files from the site, which we're looking into 
to provide a solution.
