I travel with my skydiving rig as carry on luggage, since they
wouldn't give me near enough $ if they loose it.
Most of the TSA people are fairly well educated on what it is and
what it looks like on the screen. I even have a plastic card that
will show them the same image with a well written explanation.
There are even FAA directives explaining the same, and how it is
perfectly proper that I have it on my shoulders when boarding.
Having said that, it only takes one idiot to screw up something that
I trust with my life. When you scream at them "don't pull that" it
makes them even stupider...
